In short: we collect only what you send us and what our servers record to keep the site running. We use it to answer you and to work with you. We do not sell it, we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
GUIPOLU Consulting LLC (“GUIPOLU”, “we”, “us”), JNA Nr. 2/1-15, Struga, North Macedonia, business registration RN 35020260016196, TIN 4026026550142, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any question about it, write to info@guipolu.com.
2. What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email address, company, the category you select (for example investor or project sponsor) and the content of your message, whether through the contact form or by email.
- Business contact information. Names, roles and contact details of people we deal with in the course of our work, including representatives of investors, project sponsors, buyers, suppliers and their advisers. Some of this we receive from other parties to a discussion rather than from you directly.
- Project and mandate material. Documents and information you choose to share with us about a project or investment requirement. Where these contain personal data, we treat it as described here and in section 5.
- Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, date and time, and pages requested.
Please do not send us special categories of personal data (such as health information) — we do not need it.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and assess whether we can help — based on steps taken at your request before any agreement, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To carry out an engagement you have asked us to carry out, including screening an opportunity commercially and making introductions — based on the performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in facilitating the business relationship you have asked us to support.
- To meet legal obligations, such as accounting, tax and record-keeping requirements.
- To keep the website secure and working — based on our legitimate interest in protecting the site and our systems.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered your interests and rights and you may object at any time (see section 8). We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only:
- With counterparties, when you ask us to. An introduction necessarily involves sharing your business contact details and the information needed for it — only with parties relevant to it, and under a non-disclosure agreement where one is in place.
- With service providers who help us run the business, such as our website hosting, email and email-delivery providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- With professional advisers (for example lawyers and accountants) under a duty of confidentiality, and with authorities where the law requires it.
5. Confidentiality of project information
Project and mandate information is treated as confidential. We share it with a third party only where you have asked us to, or where a non-disclosure agreement is in place, and only what is needed for the introduction. We sign a non-disclosure agreement on request before reviewing project material. Please do not send confidential material through the contact form — ask us for an NDA first.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside North Macedonia or the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards required by law are in place, such as standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for details.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Engagement records: for as long as the engagement requires, and afterwards for the periods required by law (for example for accounting and tax purposes).
- Server logs: for a limited period, as set by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set by law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected, and incomplete data completed;
- have your data deleted, or its use restricted;
- object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
To exercise any of these, write to info@guipolu.com. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in North Macedonia, the Personal Data Protection Agency; if you are in the European Union, the authority in your country. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to this website and access limited to those who need it. No system is completely secure, so please send sensitive material only once an NDA and a secure channel are agreed.
10. Cookies
This site does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and nothing you do here is profiled or shared with an advertising network. Fonts and images are served from our own site. If this ever changes, we will update this section and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
11. Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
12. Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and professionals, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.
13. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where a change is significant, tell the people it affects directly.
